Kinumia ScanPrivacy Policy
This pre-launch policy describes the current technical privacy boundary of the app and website. It must be reviewed against the signed release build before publication.
1. Document content
Kinumia Scan is designed so core scanning, image enhancement, OCR, search and PDF operations can work without a Kinumia document server. The current mobile implementation uses local files and on-device OCR. The website PDF tools process selected files inside your browser.
2. What we do not intentionally collect
The current pre-launch website has no account system, document upload endpoint, advertising tracker, analytics beacon or waitlist. It does not intentionally collect your PDF contents, OCR text, filenames or signatures.
3. Technical data
The final hosting provider may process ordinary network metadata such as IP address, user agent and request timestamps to deliver and secure the website. Final production disclosures must match the actual hosting configuration.
4. Device permissions
The mobile app may request camera, photo/file access and biometric authentication only for user-initiated product functions. Biometric matching is handled by platform APIs.
5. Purchases
Store purchases are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play infrastructure. Kinumia may receive entitlement and transaction state needed to unlock the purchase, subject to the stores’ own policies.
6. Deleted documents
The product includes a Recently Deleted recovery window before permanent deletion. The exact behavior must remain aligned with the release build.
7. Changes and future features
Any future feature that sends document content off-device must receive explicit product approval, privacy disclosure and security review before release.
8. Contact
Kinumia Scan is operated by Kinumia in Colombia. For privacy matters, email privacy@kinumia.com.
